  • Good one Janet!! lol
  • Ok, Technically if one reads the label on a tomato can example ( Pastene) it indicates Garvy, no where it meantions sauce, lmao.

Janet , to funny, and I agree . Especially when one has to much Whiskey he may be referred to having to much sauce.

Ealph: On the cans, it says Tomato Sauce in Big letters , lol???
  • Ralph, not Ealph, lol. I am not trying to change your name.
  • I think it became Gravy when people started putting meat bones in the sauce, he he he.
  • Gravy is an English sauce made often from the juices that run naturally from meat or vegetables during cooking. It is a smooth, non-chunky liquid. Ready-made cubes and powders can be used as a substitute for natural meat or vegetable extracts. Canned gravies are also available. Gravy is commonly served with roasts, meatloaf, rice,[1] and potato dishes.
  • That's from Wikopedia, not me.

It looks like you replied to me re the Sacco Family. On Oct 25 12:49a there is a post that looks like it came from you, however, only my original comment is in the box.

By the way, I realized I wrote the cousin was Albert Sr. - it was cousin Charlie. Not sure what I was thinking. Haven't had a chance to talk to
my sister yet.. My head is foggy - maybe too much wine last night.
Think the other two brothers were Danny? Frank? Don't bet on it

All - have a nice day. The sun is finally out... Heading to a wedding in the Big Apple. Ciao!!!
  • Chrissy - I also am getting an error message when I try an open Donnie's tribute.

Dan - Could you please give me the recipe for roasted peppers.

Suzie or Patsy - How do I get pictures from the web.

I also tried to post a picture but it keeps telling me that the pixel is too large. How do I make it smaller?

    Thanks, Judy
  • Hi Everyone. Beautiful day, leaves falling but I hope not too many yet on the skate path. Going out there today to skate in the sun and will be careful not to hit a wet patch of leaves (I wear all the protective gear but who wants to fall).

Carol: Thanks for the recipe......looking forward to trying it soon.
  • We always called it Sauce. When eating in Restaurants it's called sauce; Marinara SAUCE, Spaghetti SAUCE, Linguini and clam SAUCE. No mention of GRAVY unless it's brown. Actually I don't care what its called as long as it's good. lol Santina
