  • Hi Sweety Pie Christina !! I was looking for Jack, lol.
  • its a Friday night ....Ill give you 1 guess where you think old Jack is ???
  • There he is, I just took his picture dis-robing.
  • Hi Everyone-

Thanks so much for the sympathy.

Franny, thanks for the Rainbow Bridge. Reading it was very comforting. One day I will be with my little girl, Lucky.
My kids are old, 32, 25, 19, 17. They seem much better. Thank you.

Oh Debbie- Listen to Terry. Both my dad and I had very bad experiences with Habib--father and son!

Today after I gave out my 250 treats, it was about 7PM so I asked my neice and daughter if they wanted to walk to the liquor store on 5 ave. bet. 14 & 15 Sts. I tried NUVO sparkling liqueur and loved it, wanted some more. First when we got to 25 st. & 5 Ave. a cop car was at the street light shinning his head lights into the cemetary and says over the speaker, "Oh man you're locked in the cemetary on Halloween night!" I looked across the avenue and sure enough there was a woman and man inside the locked gates. I was hysterical.

When I got to about 23 street & 5th, it was like one big party with so many people on the avenue, hardly any room to walk. Everyone in costumes, acting out their little roles, singing and dancing. Everyone was so nice! It felt like the times when I was young and everyone seemed happy. We walked all the way down to 9 street and back to 29 street and the whole ordeal took 4 hours. I even had to buy a shopping wagon to bring all the liquor home!
The highlight of the whole evening was .............seeing Santa Claus riding his bike on 5th Ave. yelling "Ho, HO, Ho, Happy Haloween."
    Only in Brooklyn.

Happy Halloween and once again, thanks for all your kindness.

  • When we were kids on Halloween, we used to ask the other kids as they came away from the houses if they got anything good and then we would rush over there if they did. There were so many houses giving candy. Just about everyone on the blocks. We had to pick and choose to fit as many in as possible, lol.
  • Janet put the bottle down ....your spelling certain words wrong and you see Jack somewhere unrobing! Id say you had enough!

just kidding....Im shot ...I have to go to bed !

    nite all....
  • I never remember buying a costume. We always made our from stuff in the house.
  • I'll put the bottle down when I see double, since 2 of them will do.

I have to laugh, Janet. When I read your post I thought it was Gaelic not a misspelling. HAHA.
Oh and this bottle of NUVO-vodka, french sparkling wine and fruit nectar. Not that great. Not worth the 28 bucks.

...a collage of the pics I had from the reunion.
  • Good morning Festina, nice pictures.
Don't eat too much candy today. My gosh, I had my fill last night.
  • Hey, does anyone like the movies? Did you see Iron Man? It was a great movie and I will see it again.
  • Hi all, thanks for the kind words. Patsy, your picture made me laugh!! Thanks.

Linda....I didn't have a lot of ear infections. When I was first diagnosed with hearing loss my doc said it was from a virus that settled in the ear. That was 1988, right before I got married. I suffered from terrible dizzy spells for years.

Terry, I emailed you this morning.

I hope these tests show nothing. :)
  • Festina....after your night, can I have him for two nights!!!!!! lol
  • Mil: I have a copy of Iron Man but never got to actually sit down and watch it.
  • FRAN LA GRECA,

Thanks for taking me back to a great place. It WAS always fun and exciting in Brooklyn on Halloween. I remember being out for hours. Too funny with the couple locked in the cemetary.........unbelievable.
