Hey guys,

Brooklyn homegrown band .357 Lover will be playing Union Hall this Friday.

I caught them at Mercury Lounge. This band is the perfect work week capper.

BK's Hold Steady were dubbed "America's No. 1 bar rock band" by the nouveau riche chickadees of the indie-rock class; The .357 Lover is the blue-collar vicar of glam. The Pabst Blue Ribbon to Craig Finn's microbrew.

Fresh off opening dates for They Might Be Giants, .357 Lover's new release, Diorama of the Golden Lion is all about beery sing-along hooks and crunchy bass riffs. It's about as rock n' roll as rock n' roll gets.

Go check these dudes out.
