  • Oh, flu shot don't make sense because it is last years strain. It is just a way for the drugs companies to make money. I say long the drug companies that make flu shot.

    Utter utter utter unmitigated rubbish!

The vaccine is changed every year based on research about which strains are most prevalent. While there is no guarantee it will be right it isn't "just last years strain".

For more information about this year's vaccine go to:

  • Yea, total bullshit. The flu shot is effective... not 100% but it is most definitely not a scam by the pharma industry, especially since it's given free to many, many people. I get it every year and just got it for my kids too.
  • Forget the flu shot, we need to get Depo Provera out here
  • is it possible that my flu shot got me crazy sick? Like, horrible cold, verging on flu? 'Cause, I got mine last week, and 2 days later, i got hit by a virus bus.
  • yes, it's possible
  • great. can you let me know how long it's gonna last? I can't take it any more.
  • No way to predict how long it will last but my guess is that it will be of shorter duration than having the lu. Years back I had a reaction to the Flu Shot and haven't gotten one since. But... I don't advise everyone do as I do.
  • So where can I go in the slope to get me one?

Listen to the madness: Yes the flu shot got her sick, "But... I don't advise everyone do as I do."

So we should sign up for flu shots, but if we die; don't blame her.
  • Yes, vaccinations are madness. Just responsible for our lifespan increasing by, oh, 40 years, but still utter madness!
  • My all time favorite GP, Dr. Mike Raffinan (at 8th/Lincoln (212) 537-5039) can give you a flu shot.
