Best way to find out is to check the windshields of one of the trucks -- they'll usually have some kind of permit from the Film & TV commission in the window, and they'll usually have the name of the film on it.
But if you don't get to do that, just assuming that "It's probably one of the LAW AND ORDER shows" is usually a safe bet. :? -
