PRINTER REPAIR

I was having problems with my multifunction brother machine -injet -too.
I asked the guys on Vanderbilt bet. St. Marks & Prospect and the guy told me that it was cheaper to replaced them. so after couple of months I contacted Brother tech. support - they have locations on Midwood & Williamsburg - checking to see if it would be more affordable than buying a new one and it turned out that the type printer had a manufacturing problem so eventhough the vendor warranty had expired by one year (boy, time flies) it covered the problem of machine and got it fix for nothing.
Check out with the manufactures website, they might be able to help because the local technitians, I get the impression do not like to work on them only on computers.

I was under the impression that it's cheaper to replace most inkjet printers than repair them. There is a computer shop that does repairs on Flatbush somewhere between Bergen and Atlantic (I think- Iforgot the exact crossstreet). I've never been there though, so I can't vouch for them.
Those guys overcharge. I stopped in on the way home from work before xmas to pick a computer for my mom. I look at a few used computers. Lets just say I got twice the power, a warranty and a flatscreen monitor for the same price at Dell.com. The dell system made theirs look like a Commodore 64!

This is absolutely correct. Check CNet, or even a CompUSA/Circuit City/Best Buy flyer; you can get a fine color inkjet for about $50.

The board has spoken. Go forth, and bother us no more about your printer.
