    Here's the scoop from a Real Real Estate Professional:
    North Slope = Flatbush Ave to Union
    Center Slope = Union to 9th St.
    South Slope = 9th St. to Prospect Ave.

    All boundaries are from 4th Ave to PPW.

    Whoa, I get it now--so essentially Park Slope can logically only consist of those blocks that are directly within the "Slope" sloping downwards from the "Park," because that's how it is in "Montclair Heights."

    Of course, that would mean that the north side of Park Slope ends at Union St., but whatever.

    What would us dopey natives do without people like you showing up to kindly school us on our neighborhood? Thank God for you all.

    Of course, being a "native", you do know that Union Street WAS considered the border of Park Slope for a while...before it moved..

    (Seriously beginning to doubt that you are a native)

    While waiting for the light to change on 9th st and 7th avenue ,I overheard a stroller mom advise her child, we have to be careful honey, we are entering the South Slope

    That's priceless!

    (Although I remember a time when living on the Park Slope blocks closest to Flatbush Avenue (such as Park Place) was considered too dangerous for families with young kids)

    I lived in the South Slope when it really was dangerous. I don't know why I'm laughing.
