Flight of the Conchords filming tomorrow

from 6 AM to noon at 5th Avenue and 13th Street, according to the no-parking signs. Just in case anyone is interested in rubbernecking. I saw an episode of the show once that was clearly filmed on PPW, but for the most part I figured they stuck to North Brooklyn.

    Huge fan, I'll try stopping by throughout the day (I work from home nearby).

    The sign says they are filming 6am-midnight, FYI. There was nothing going on when I stopped by around 7:30am except for crew members having breakfast, but I'll check again around lunchtime.

    In more interesting news, I stumbled upon Gossip Girl filming in Midtown today, and can assure you, it was far more awesome.

    Thanks for the update. I hope you posted it on Midtownian.com. I also heard that Law and Order is filming somewhere in New York, which also excited me to no end.

    Nice catch on the midnight thing, blevine; I guess I just saw the "12" and thought there's no way they'd be out there for 18 hours. but that does explain why there was some serious equipment still parked outside my place when I got home from work a few hours ago.

    Now I have to get cable, to watch the next season and try to recognize my block.

    I saw them! I walked by around 5:00 pm yesterday and Brett (Britt?) was running, jumping, then twirling about in between takes. They had the sidewalk blocked off and were filming in front of a video game store. I did not get a chance to tell Brett his beard is good. I didn't spot Jemaine, Kristen Schaal, or that guy who plays their agent. Everybody was packed up and gone by the time I walked by again at 6:30ish.

    Damn! I found out too late! I ran down at 7something and they were all packing up and nothing was going on. :(

    I've seen Kristen Schaal walking around here 3 or 4 times but never had the nerve to go up and say anything. If I did the encounter would probably be embarrassingly similar to me behaving like her character on the show.
