if both Ana and Depearl promise to show up tonight, I promise to go to Party City and buy a tinfoil helium balloon that says "happy birthday".

I will then tie said balloon to my arm and drink beer a Franklin Park, awaiting thier arrival.

Yup. For, I don't know, a while now. Traditional and occasionally creative italian food. Quite good, actually. Dangerously so. Generally quite tasty sauces. I beleive Delissa, the owner, isn't doing a whole lot of advertising about this because she doesn't want to overwhelm her only cook, Anagrazia.

Its every night but Saturday and Monday maybe. But really, I'm just making that up. Not sure exactly what nights she serves, I just know that there is a set schedule of either four or five nights a week from 6:00 (or 6:30) to 10:00 pm. My wife will be working Wednesdays and Fridays for a couple of weeks or longer, just to help out. And I will be home getting happily abused by our two year old daughter.

So, we'll stop by Franklin Park's opening tonight after 10 to see what its all about. As Sepia-centric as my social life is, its hard to ignore a new bar (or at least, an internal addition) opening like a block away from our apartment. Hey, it might even be close enough to be in baby monitor range!

I will look for the aforementioned mylar happy birthday balloons to denote wo's representing Brooklynian.

I missed the other one he had on Wednesday, so I feel like I gots to show up, shut up, and sing.

...perhaps we should just wait until the Chicklyian thing next week. There will be a lot more people from the board there.
