What to do on a rainy day....

perhaps this thread should be merged with the vodka thread.
vodka being made from a potato (which is used to change a light bulb)
vodka being something to consume by mildly depressed people on a rainy day. -
There is definitely a joke in there somewhere. Has to do with screwing. Funny how my mind goes right to it. Always. I swear I am the reincarnation of a 12 year old boy

And Tivo. Of which I have at least 30 hours. Maybe I should come over and bring you flowers and change your lightbulb....
Oh, my! Watch out, because any minute now, the Brooklynians will have us meeting under the arch at GAP while they ride their bikes in circles around us

I feel the sudden urge to post on the Park Slope board, but I don't know why. wait, look
THERE he is. -

That's really quite funny. You made me laugh which is difficult.

whynot - i like the way you think
voodoo - you don't laugh? This may be sadder than me not having any flowers. -
glad I could help. Let me know if you want to meet Sneaky and Dapearl.
-
Flexi I do laugh but not usually spitting out my wine laughing like I just did..... oh hell, I'm on my way over, what was your address again?
-
whynot_31 wrote: glad I could help. Let me know if you want to meet Sneaky and Dapearl.
Sneaky and Dapearl are not......sophisticated enough for Flexi, what very little I know about her. And maybe I want to meet Beaverhausen. No offer there?? -

Wow. So much in that post.
1) I do like sophisticated men. You've been paying attention.
2) the way to my heart is definitely not through ditching me for another woman right at the start
-
Not sure if Beaverhausen will buy you or Flexi flowers.
...but thought I'd try to address that issue first.
On that note, you might not get flowers from Dapearl or sneaky.
...but don't take my word for it. PM them and let them know your needs.
Flexi, still waiting for your address. Mrs Whynot is feeling under the weather, but Dude and I could use some wine. -
It was more being excluded from an offer for a meet-up than ditching you, Flexi. And the fact that I am posting at all is definitley all Potter's fault. Potter? Potter? Oh, wait, I think she said she was going to a party with Whatchuwant.... this board is incestuous....
-
whoa. Am only on my first glass of wine, and I am already confused
1) I thought Voodoo wanted my address. Now Whynot wants it too? Don't you guys know that I'm like Snuffleufagus? Not too many people have actually seen me. I can't go inviting EVERYBODY over :-)
2) who is Dude? -
And to bring things full circle, it's starting to pour. Hello Tivo....
-
Voodoo wants your address, presumably because you were cooking and had wine. I am certain that this why Dude and I are interested.
Dude is Whynot's dog. 45 lbs, brown, four legs, big ears etc.
P.S. Snuffy is real. -

and tomorrow she will be at my house building an Ikea desk and having our weekly dinner. She gets around, that one.
You were not excluded. I'm curious as to what you made for dinner. -

Not sure why whynot wants your address, but yes, ms. potter mentioned you like to stay under the radar. They've seen you, they just don't know they've seen you.

And I believe Dude = Carmen. -

Dinner is lasagna and a huge salad. And wine. Lots of wine. You? -
Ah, yes. Dude = Carmen. See how long my attention span is these days?
You and Potter were talking about me, huh?
There are a few people who have seen me in person.
What did you make for dinner? -
oh we were posting at the same time. Did you make this lasagna?
Dinner for me is pasta and wine. Red wine. Lots of red wine.
Pasta + shallots, artichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, a little heavy cream and pancetta. Mmm mmm mmmm
Potter and I make very good salads. It's all about the kirby cucumbers. -
I did make this lasagna. I am from Brooklyn after all. But your pasta sounds amazing. Huh. Cucumbers. Ok, move on folks, nothing to see here.
-
I have leftovers :-)
-
all this talk of food, and you wonder why Dude and I want to come over?
Mrs. Whynot had her adenoids removed on Friday, so Dude and I are preparing to eat soup and kibble, respectively. -
Actually Brooklyn via Ohio but who's spltting hairs. And leftovers? Me too!
Although I haven't actually eaten yet. Dinner time! -

WTF are adenoids? And I heart kibble.
Mrs. Whynot had her adenoids removed on Friday, so Dude and I are preparing to eat soup and kibble, respectively. -
ooo look I'm a regular. This is Potter's fault.
-
Oh and whynot - Dude must be your dog and not Carmen. I seriously doubt that Carmen eats kibble. Unless I'm missing something.
-
VoodooNYC wrote: ooo look I'm a regular. This is Potter's fault.
Potter and I are on the phone now. She takes no responsibility for your regularity or irregularity. -
geez, a woman comes home from her freezing studio and lounges around with the the boy, then naps, then wakes up to all this board excitement!
voodoo, thank you for coming by. (voodoo has a really great handshake, btw). i love the pic of your kitteh, does it have a name?
dude, i know your real name isn't carmen... or is that carmen, i know your real name isn't dude... (and for those of us who have seen carmen, as i incestuously have, she does not look like a dude. at all. )
flexi, we need to live blog tomorrow's dinner and furniture assembling bonanza.
whynot, i'm sorry about your wife's adenoids. is she in pain? can she eat? is she eating ice cream or is that just tonsils? -
Potter, look closely at Voodoo's avatar. There are TWO kittehs.
Voodoo, lock up your boy cat if Potter is coming by. She's already threatened to steal my Jackson. -
ah, i wasn't looking closely.
and flexi, i usually don't like boy kittehs but your jackson won my heart.
Howdy, Stranger!
