  • of course he did, he's my boo. It's hard not to love him

    LOCK YOU KITTEHS
  • Sorry - lasagna is still not done damn it. It was nice meeting you too Potter! I have two boy kittehs. And either one will win your heart. Ollie and Mookie are their names. Both rescues. They are sweeties. Hey do any of you cat lovers have Da Bird? Available on amazon for a reasonable price. Best. Cat. Toy. Evah. I don't know how to inbed links yet but search amazon for Da Bird and your guys will love you for at least the next day or so.

Live blog for dinner tomorrow - pictures or......
  • da bird is da word!
  • (voodoo has a really great handshake, btw)

Is that a ringing endorsement or a he was hit by the ugly stick (as the real Carmen - not Dude) would say.
  • it is what is it: da truth. i don't trust people with measly handshakes. good first impression, methinks
  • I hate bad handshakes. Especially wimpy hand shakes (not that I want to feel in danger of breaking fingers, just firm). A good firm shake and look ya in the eye is the way to go
  • that's what he has. good and firm. and nice biceps
  • BP: appreciate that then. flexi - you have da bird? it rocks. really.

I had da bird for a long time. I think I lost it when I moved last year. My friend turned me on to it and the kittehs enjoyed it.

I think we have to add this to things to do on a rainy day:

    11) spend all day on Brooklynian
  • So wait - are voodoo and flexi an item now? Is it a love triangle with Potter? How the hell did I get brought into it??
  • see what happens when you miss a few hours, Beavie?
  • don't get me in trouble beaverhausen, everyone knows i live with the bigguy.
  • Jeez, I guess so! Sorry P - I'm confused. I decided to follow Flexi's lead and take a nap.

PS - I need sweater bowls! When are you in your studio?
  • I just sat home and checked my ebay every 15 seconds.
  • beaverhausen, every day! (not tomorrow though)

Yay! How is Thursday? I'll PM you later for details!
  • VoodooNYC wrote: [quote=whynot_31]all this talk of food, and you wonder why Dude and I want to come over?

Mrs. Whynot had her adenoids removed on Friday, so Dude and I are preparing to eat soup and kibble, respectively.
WTF are adenoids? And I heart kibble.

    Dude is my dog.

Carmen is another poster, not sure how she got brought into this ...but doubt she'd like be confused with my dog.

Adenoids exist just behind the tonsils, in your throat. Most people who have problematic adenoids, manage to do so by age 10. Mrs. Whynot, on the otherhand, decided that he adenoids should be come huge at age 37. So on Friday, the good people and Ear Nose and Throat hospital decided to dress her in a gown, sedate her, take them, and then have her wander around our apartment stoned on codeine.

Which leaves Dude (not to be confused with Carmen) and I bored to tears.

  • take some codeine, you won't be bored anymore

thank you, i've been saving it for a special occasion

I wish. ...but, in the past, any time I've been given opiates I vomit.

...they seem to make mrs whynot drowsy, and eat lots of chocolate.
  • most opiates make me sick as a dog. codeine, however (and dilauded, which i had the pleasure of being hooked up to on an IV for a week when i nearly died) is a lovely drug
