    1) Raw - you need to get out of the house more
    2) Potter has too many cute bras to go topless.
  • raw, who died and made you the party planner?
  • I just sold the rights to my avatar on ebay.. I got a working kidney and half a box of cracker jacks. So, I'm pretty happy about that.

Anyway, please let us know what you get for that coupon. I find auction psychology fascinating. Theoretically, the coupon has infinite value. Actually, the maximum value is 20% of the inventory at Key Foods at any given time. That's a lot of dough.

So yeah, let us know. My prediction is that you'll get a Bo Jackson baseball card, $.75, a wooden duck and some batteries - or something of equivalent value.

    Good luck!!
  • The winner of the auction also gets to meet ringrunner in person, let's not forget the value of that! A day with ringrunner is a fun day.
  • LTS
They don't HAVE to meet me. I accept paypal, and I could mail them the card.

    DR
I got a bid!!! So it will sell for at least 99 cents
  • ringrunner: what was your listing fee? what will be the final value fee? will you make a quarter?
  • personally, I think potter here is bidding on it just so she can meet you RR

Damn you, Potter! I wanted to meet RR
  • I think she was going to take you along.................
  • ahem. i don't want to me rr, i don't want a coupon.

    a: i'm taken by bigguy.

b: no 20% coupon is going to come close to any bargains i'd find on my own. i rule when it comes to getting good prices.

I have to concur - Potter is quite the bargain hunter
  • Well, we already know she saves on underwear...................
  • but did you know i once bought a prada dress for 95 cents?
  • Was it Prada or Preda?
  • brooklynpotter wrote: ringrunner: what was your listing fee? what will be the final value fee? will you make a quarter?
The listing fee is 15 cents. It it sells for 99 cents, ebay will keep about a dime. If the winner were to pay me with paypal (will not happen) the fee would be about 35 cents to paypal.

I am not doing this for the $
  • You have to understand the brain of RR to get why he would do this, it has taken me a few years, but, i think i got it.

So....what ARE you doing it for? It would seem much more effective to offer to give it away to somebody for free than to expend the effort of posting and managing paypal, etc. Didn't you do more than $0.35 worth of work on this?
  • Well, I was going to try to explain why I think he does it-but, i think I will let RR do that himself. LOL

Oh, BTW, when is the mud/jello wrestling event scheduled for?

    Not you, too!
  • RR is gonna sell tickets on eBay to it ;)

I really don't know. I am going to see an ebay therapist today..
  • Give me a break! You? pay for a therapist? LOL
  • I can pay her in metrocards
  • i am thoroughly perplexed by this whole thread.
  • Let's not get started on your metrocard fixation now RR.
  • I can't believe you got 3 bids on it and it sold for $3.00!! you got to tell me who comes for it! I want to know if it's anybody we know, LOL!

I used my 20% off the other night at 5th Avenue Key Food and saved $20, I guess paying $3 for it wouldn't have been too bad.
  • I can't believe this thread is this long. yikes.
