I think we're more like the cheese and wine gallery.

Beaverhausen. Pay. Attention. -
a: we cannot eat the wine and cheese till the desk we buy is assembled.
b: that desk will make your office look like the office of a fairy princess (not to be confused with the other fairy i'm talking shit to on the other thread)
c: did i not used to be a mag editor who specialized in home, lifestyle, decor, and entertaining?
chill out. -

I'd like to derail this thread for a moment to let everyone now that I've caught teh ebola, and my brains are coming out my nose.... ok maybe I just have a bad cold...... where's carmen?
-
is carmen a faith healer?
go to CVS, buy: zycam zinc thingies for your nose, echinacea, packets of emergen-c, tylenol.
go to liquor store and find something to make hot toddies for later.
come home, get in bed, sleep -

Eeek! Its been bad lately, everyone's getting sick! Do you need anything?
Tom Yum soup from Song is the SHIT when you're sick- I always feed a cold! I've been having this allergy/cold/strep thing for like 6 weeks now...lots of tylenol if you're achy, lots and lots of water and sleep! AND the walk-in down on my corner (7th st and 5th ave) is awesome if you think you've got something that needs antibiotics. Let me know if you need anything, I'll brave the hurricane winds for you my love. -
brooklynpotter wrote: okay voodoohead?
That made me giggle.
-

didn't you know? I "work from home" and by "work from home" i mean "use the hand of god to heal people with colds."
Or maybe I'm just sick ALL THE TIME so I know the best remedies
-
ah yes, and soup. tom yum soup works. and grilled cheese
-

mama, sorry to hear about your impending death. Who will care for your cats?
yes, where is Carmen! Even I want details on her date at this point, and I never care what happens in Park Slope. ...I leave you guys to discuss moths that eat cashmere, while those of us in PH and CH hook-up those in need and dodge gunshot posts.
Note: Dodging gunshot posts are far easier than dodging gunshots, the latter are rarely directed at me. -
seriously, what is up with this wind?? My roof was leaking last night too....
-
I AM HERE! But jeeze I didn't go out with Pearl, everyone relax.
-
i never said you went out with pearl.
aren't you an html genius? -
I did know HTML and CCS.. but it's been years since I used it and I think I just sneezed out that part of my brain.
-
brooklynpotter wrote: i never said you went out with pearl.
someone else insinuated it, I guess I assume people are only interested in my dating life when it involved other brooklynians.
aren't you an html genius?
And actually I'm not a developer. I know nothing about html. Sorry my love- I have lots of friends who are though, if you have a specific question PM me and I can see if I can get an answer for ya. -
Mama, our apt has a surplus of codeine (see above) but I reserve the right to flick pieces of paper at you while you lie defenselessly stoned watching TV ... mrs. whynot will tell you I filled some time doing this last night.
She wasn't amused, and will likely give you a turn.
Carmen, we are willing to hear about your date even if it was not with someone from the board. ...but how dare you date outside! -
Yeah, lets hear about this date Carmen. Where did you go?
-
Its not that exciting folks
Mama- we ended up at great lakes on Fri, btw, good stuff and high life for $4. WIN
My good dates generally include burritos and watching intervention episodes on demand. This was no different. Rachels chicken Baja ftw.
I am a classy bitch. -
Carmen you have likely seen me eating outside of La Tacq....
"Baja, black beans, chick, corn. Thanks. Oh, a a large lemonade. to go"
I sit on the benches outside, Dude looks at it wantingly, and is then rewarded with some at the end.
Carmen, you must get a more exciting dating life ...none of my friends are dating anymore. ...its pathetic that I must live thru you, but it is true.
plus, single people make me glad I'm hooked. -
i'm far too stoned to respond to whynots's posting, above
-
Takeout on the couch with a bottle of wine to split and SNL is TOTALLY perfect for me. Better than going out and watching someone get hammered/having a shameover the next day. At least you actually get to talk.
But I'll start dating dudes I meet at hotel bars so I can have more exciting stories for you. Or maybe not.
Also my avatar is summing up my feelings about this thread atm. Ha. -
brooklynpotter wrote: i'm far too stoned to respond to whynots's posting, above
um. me=jealous. -
SNL was funny last night. I only watched thru weekend update, but the rest is on tivo.
great, I am taking a stoned Potter to Ikea. This should be fun. God help us all if she has to try to find the bathroom in that maze of hell.
you can watch Intervention on demand? That show is the shit - it especially makes me feel better about my alcohol use :-) -
did you know that when you're stoned on rx meds you still get the munchies?
-
brooklynpotter wrote: did you know that when you're stoned on rx meds you still get the munchies?
yes, I did know that. I don't know how  -

Humpf. A real man would offer to assemble it!! -
beaverhausen, i don't need no man to assemble anything for me. (though if one would like to come install ceiling fixtures i'd be eternally grateful.)
voodoo,we're about to leave for our destination. and i'm still super-stoned. my boyfriend is pretending i'm not here -

Hmmm. Think I would prefer to sit and observe Flexi and Potter assemble it. Wait - wasn't there supposed to be a mud wrestling event bewteen those two? What happened to THAT?
