I need an office desk - fast
My desk has fallen apart. I need a new one, ASAP.
I was thinking of this one:

but Potter tells me it will make my office look like a "fairy princess". WTF?!
I live in a brownstone. I have wood floors. My furniture and built in bookcases are all white.
What do you think of this desk? If ya don't like it, help me find an alternative in a similar price range, please (p.s. I found one I liked and when I included shipping of $180, it was no longer a bargain).
