Lost pet flyers

As a pet owner, I can't imagine the anguish of losing a pet but if you have lost your pet, don't you think it would astronomically increase your chances of someone contacting you if you put strips with your phone number on the flyer that people can pull off? I mean, just writing down your number once on the flyer and expecting people to write it down or key it into their cell phone isn't practical. Every single lost pet flyer I see is far less organized than a flyer advertising an apt for rent or guitar lessons. Just sayin'

Not really, If you've gone to the trouble of taking in a loose cat I think you will go to the trouble of keying in a phone number. Other than a quick glance, most people don't want to know the sad details unless of course they have a lost cat or maybe they're a cat kidnapper or wrangler. With no description of the cat on the strips what is the point of having a pocket full of numbers.
