Hi there, Please join the new Google Group called Clinton-Washington- Neighbors-Against-Noise to help ensure that our nabe is as peaceful as it has always been.

The group has been created by residents Clinton Hill whose nights have been disrupted by the Jalani Lounge. We understand that the owner of the club needs to run a productive business, but don't believe this should be at the expense of his neighbor's peace. We aim to keep our beloved neighborhood quiet like it used to be.

Dear all,

Councilwoman James, who has been very responsive and helpful in helping to reduce the noise from the Jalani Lounge, will be mediating a session with the owner of the club. We really want to find a way to work together so that the business can make money and the neighbors can enjoy the quiet that long proceeded the club.

I'm glad to hear you guys are hopefully working on a constructive compromise. Glad to hear Tish is doing her thing too. I've had good experiences with her when we were worried about tall buildings in our area.

She's been great--recently and over the past year.

I think if the club were to install double glass doors, so noise didn't pour out into the night whenever anyone opened the door for even a single second, it will be a lot more live-able.
