Happy Birthday to Joseph ---Janets' grandchild
  • Good Afternoon Everyone!

Just wanted to stop by to wish Janet's Grandson a Happy Birthday!

    Photobucket
  • Patty Spinelli (Staszak) - Hi Patty... Not sure if you remember me, but I knew you and your cousin Susie when we were kids. I lived on 5th avenue & would always hang out on 22nd street. I know we also have a mutual friend (Kathy Koneschusky). Hope all is well & so glad you found this site. Talk to you soon....

    Geri
  • Fran Bruno = Your explanation of Judy's dream just blew me away. Next time I have a dream I am coming to you for advise.... lol

Patsy - Just got off the phone with Aunt Rose Marie... We talked for over an hour. She is the best & has not changed one bit. I didn't realize how much I really miss the family.. and how much things hae changed! All the kids are grown now & have families of their own! I didn't realize how many years have passed since I was in touch with all my cousins... Boy does time fly... Love Ya!
  • Hello Mildred, I see you have joined the latenight watch on here lol.

Judy, very funny joke.So what are you wraping around hubby today lol

Suize, Men to Men ? lol . If ladies would only take the time to speak softly, clearly, and most of all to the point, and don't confuse us, we men would understand much better when speaking to.

I must remind everyone you thought me with photobucket picture postings, with four easy lines on here.

You know this blog is very very funny and happy to be apart of it. Hope the admininstrator finds this funny.

For all the special ladies here,

Is this appropriate or do guys really want flowers and candy too??

    Have a nice day
  • Francesca - I went back and really read every word on your dream theories...boy it was good...I hope you do this as a profession. I always thought interpreting dreams was so amazing.

I remember in high school I did a whole paper on it. I wish I could find it now.

    Thanks again. Judy
  • Suzie says: "dont leave yet .....I have these dreams ... of running to help someone and screaming and nothings coming out of my voice !!"

    Hi Suzie...
I have these dreams too. And sometimes I scream so loud, I scare the shit out of my husband. Sometimes screaming "Help! Please HELP ME! (talk about the unconscious stating reality; at least I am polite and say please in my nightmares).

So Suzie, WHO IS NOT LISTENING TO YOU IN YOUR LIFE???? And we all know you are a caretaker by nature and profession; always running to help others, before yourself. Sound familiar?

    -----------------------------------------

Going to pack some boxes.... Yesterday while packing, I found my mom's stuff (her hat, hand-made hanky's he crochetted (sp?) - very emotional... but thought you'd all find this part funny - they were in one of those skinny stocking boxes from Pop's Bizzare on 19th & 5th..... There was actually a stocking called "business" - how progressive in name for a woman in that era.

We all remember and can still smell Pop's Fire Hazzard...
  • Hi Geri,

Yes, I remember you. We all hung out. You look great from your picture. I will send a picture as soon as I can.

Do you keep in touch with Flossy? I keep in touch with Kathy and also Willie and Anna Marie Parella.

You are not going to believe this, but I lost contact with Suzie about 20 years ago. After we married, we just went our separate ways.

    Talk to you soon,

    Patty
  • Now I know why I don't come here too often - now I can't shut-up and get anything done... Cause now I see Patty's' comment...

Hi Patty Spinelli (not sure I know you - the name is VERY FAMILIAR). Are you talking about Anna Marie Parella from down 24th St (I think). She married Guido. We went to Bay Ridge High School together.

LIZ JOY CAREY -- Remember we played hookey up in Anna Marie's house (also in Debbie Walters' house)... Because their mothers worked.... I remember getting caught the day we played at Anna Marie's house and I told my mom it was the other Bruno (Linda) in my class who was absent, not me.. Not sure if you were at Debbie's house the day we found condoms in her father's draw and kept count of them (oh how awful).
  • Now i need help, I changed my language on 'edit profile' to Italian to see what happens - and now I lost the whole front tool bar where
    the 'edit profile' sits.....

Watch - now this will probably translate into Italian and no one will know what I am saying.... All my Options are written in Italian.....

Assuming that "Invia" means submit... HELP!!!!
  • Patty - I am so glad you remember me. Flossy and her husband were at my house about a month ago. She is living on the east coast of Florida now & I am on the west coast. It is so funny you live in Monro Township because I lived in NJ for almost 20 years (Marlboro).. We probably lived close to each other & never knew it...

Wow, I can't believe you & Susie lost touch with each other! You were so close as kids! I am glad to hear you still keep in touch with Willie & Anna Marie. Didn't Willie go out with Susie?? Please tell Anna Marie I send a big hello! Glad you found this Blog, maybe you can let Willie & Anna Marie know about it too. Talk to you soon.

    Love, Geri
  • OK - I am back... Don't do that....
Change Profile Language. Everyone's info was in Italian but the posts remained in English.

    Ciao -
  • Frannie - I wish I could help you, but I can hardly sign onto this thing myself. When Janet or Susie come back on I am sure they can help...
  • Frannie - How is the moving coming??? I would still love to get together with you when you move down to Florida.....
  • Hi Geri - thanks - I fixed it. Silly me.... How dare I experiment (I will do anything not to pack - my husband packs about 15 boxes per day to my one.)

Looking at your post, not sure I am talking about same Anna Marie??? OF course, like many of us - she can have a new husband (no Guido, Willie?).
  • Franny - It is the same Anna Marie... I think Willie is her cousin. His last name is Manzione...
  • Her maiden name was Parella....
  • Hey Folks, Just remember at Thanksgiving.... Don't eat Grandma's Pie....

    Photobucket
  • Geri
Yes, of course we will get together when I move. There will be a few of us living down there; we can have a mid-year reunion too. Ralph Suarato and Rosa will only be about an hour from me.

My girlfiend is coming to NJ from Austin and the two of us will drive down with my two yorkie-babies. It will be like Oprah and Gail's cross-country
ride (but worse, I predict). The planned date for departure is Jan 20th.

Husband stays behind for movers to load truck (need almost two days they say)... Then he'll head down with his cat. (My dogs and his cat don't get along; it was like marrying a man who had kids LOL.. Well not that bad :P
I am so ready for ongoing warm weather. Love to you, Geri!!!!!
  • Looking forward to seeing you. Have a safe trip down & if you need anything at all, please don't hesitate to call: 727-771-1719.

Well Bloggers have a great afternoon, I need to get going & get things done around here.

    Talk to you later.

    Love,
    Geri
  • One Joke before I go....>

Never ask a drunk a question
I was shopping at the local supermarket where I selected:
    A half-gallon of 2% milk,
    A carton of eggs,
    A quart of orange juice,
    A head of romaine lettuce,
A 2 lb. can of coffee, and
A 1 lb. package of bacon.

As I was unloading my items on the conveyor belt to check out, a drunk standing behind me watched as I placed the items in front of the cashier.

While the cashier was ringing up the purchases, the drunk calmly stated, 'You must be single.'

I was a bit startled by this proclamation, but I was intrigued by the drelict's intuition, since I was indeed single.

I looked at the six items on the belt and saw nothing particularly unusual about my selections that could have tipped off the drunk to my marital status.

Curiosity getting the better of me, I said: 'Well, you know what, you're absolutely right. But how on earth did you know that?'

The drunk replied, 'Cause you're ugly.>
  • Francesca -- Yes I am talking about Anna Marie Parella. She lived on 22nd street then moved to 24th st. She married Quido Nocelli. They live in Staten Island.

Geri -- I will let Willie and Anna know that I found this site. Tell Flossy I said hello when you talk to her.

Did you know that Nicholas, Willie's brother passed away about a year and a half ago? Annette still lives on 22 nd street.

    Patty

    Patty
  • Patty - What a shame. Wasn't Nicholas the baby of the family??? What did he die of?? I know their brother Frankie has been dead for years. Please send my condolences!
  • RALPHIE, those roses are BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks very much.
  • WOW! How did I miss those Beautiful Roses???
