And a very Happy Birthday to my brother-in-law Jonathan, Laura's husband who shares the same birthday.

And would you believe its also their Anniversary, they both have the same birthday and got married on November 24th.

I was watching TV last night when my phone rang & it was her! Talk about a blast from the past.... She has been living in Florida since 1972. If anyone remembers her & wants to get in touch with her, just let me know...

When I found this recipe, I thought it was perfect for people like me, who just are not sure how to tell when poultry is thoroughly cooked, but not dried out.*

Here is a turkey recipe that also includes the use of popcorn as a stuffing -- imagine that.*

Give this a try:

8 - 15 lb. turkey
1 cup melted butter
1 cup stuffing (Pepperidge Farm is Good.)
1 cup uncooked popcorn (ORVILLE REDENBACHER'S LOW FAT)
Salt/pepper to taste *

*Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brush turkey well with melted butter salt, and pepper. Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn.*

*Place in baking pan with the neck end toward the back of the oven.
Listen for the popping sounds. When the turkey's ass blows the oven door open and the bird flies across the room, it's done.

And, you thought I didn't cook... (Just a Joke)... lol

FOR EVERYONE:

The easiest way to load a picture and control the size is to open a free account on www.photobucket.com and upload your pictures to it. There you can easily re-size them.
After you re-size it,(100 is good size for the 1st number, the 2nd will automatically fill itself in) save it to your desktop to make finding it easier. Then go to the blog and click on YOUR PAGE at the top and go down to avatar and hit browse. In the drop down menu, choose desktop, and click on the picture you saved. Hopefully you named it something you'll remember. It will appear in the avatar box. Hit submit at the bottom, as you're finished.

Note: You can then drag the picture to the trash (off the desktop) if you no longer need it.

Also, to make life even easier, right click YOUR PAGE and open it in a new window to work on it. Just make sure to hit SUBMIT.
