PARTICIPATE IN SHORT VIDEO ABOUT PROSPECT HEIGHTS
Hello Prospect Heights residents and afficionados - I'm a filmmaker who has been commissioned to make a short (3-5 min) video about Prospect Heights. I lived here for 2 years and my boyfriend still lives here. I know and love the neighborhood. But I need a few residents with a strong love for the neighborhood and a few interesting things to say, who are not camera shy.

I will be shooting Friday and Saturday (Short notice, my apologies), Jan. 6tha nd 7th. Sunday may be a possibility too. Ideally we'd do an interview in or in front of your home, and you would need to sign a release form. It would take less than 20 minutes.

If you're interested, please send a short email explaining what you feel you'd contribute - you don't have to do anything special, but if you do, mention it ( ie: if you have a leather-working studio here, or have lived here for 25 years, or host block parties every year) - It's a short film so I can't cover a lot of ground, but am looking to convey the diversity of the neighborhood, highlight its best features, and maybe touch on some of the conflicts - ie; Atlantic Yard development.

The final film will go up on turnhere.com, a new website run by Inman Media. Check out the site, but rest assured, my film will be better than the stuff up there now, none of which I produced.
