Brooklyn Back When - Open Thread

From The Old Goat in Florida- Thank you all for your Birthday Greetings. It warms my heart. Years ago there was a Senator (who will remain nameless) who got up on the floor of congress during a debate on Medicare and said"maybe we should take a cue from the eskimos in Alaska. When a tribal member can no longer work and produce for society brcause of their age or condition, they put them on an ice flow and push them out to sea". I wonder how his parents would have felt about that. Fortuneatly he is no longer in Congress. I wonder if he put himself on the ice flow!!! 8)
