  • The easier they make it for cars, the more people will drive. They really need to quit widening roads and adding parking! The project is right above a major, mass-transit hub - no one should drive, ever!

No matter what they do to the roads, 4,000 new indoor parking spaces and 40,000 new vehicle trips in and to Prospect Heights is going to dramatically increase the odds of getting hit by a car while walking in our neighborhood.

But, you gotta look on the brightside - we won't have to go to Chinatown or the Bronx anymore to get a good asthma flareup!
  • they should start charging like london does for going to the city center, for us parts of brooklyn, manhattan and parts of queens. this way we could use our public transportation more.
  • when I get cars home from work, I tend to take Park Ave to Washington Ave. the Flatbush/Atlantic intersection sucks so much I want to shoot myself every time I'm subjected to it. car-wise, it's evil. and slow. and PAINFUL.
  • thats why last summer i brought scooter. when they start charging the congestion tax here ;). i'll be safe :p.
