Just had a flashback yesterday. I spent almost the whole day in my pjs, but finally grabbed an old black dress from deep in my closet, and when the grandkids came up, I said to them :Oh this is my old Italian Ladies Widow dress.
WOW, do you remember that these women never wore anything but BLACK after their husbands died??? We use to say, "oh, they are the widows" !!
