For sale: 1991 Mazda Protege $850.00 FIRM

Treating myself to a newer car, so, mine is for sale:

1991 Mazda Protege

129,000 miles

Automatic transmission

Flip top sunroof (does not leak-works great!)

Removable face radio/cassette-Kenwood

Ol' reliable! EXCELLENT running condition! Starts up on a dime every
time!

4 door, air conditioning, power steering, 60/40 rear fold down
seats, child safety locks on rear doors, passive restraints in the front.

Cold air conditioning.........Hot heat.......

Just passed inspection in December. Also in December had a trannie
check (trannie is only 2 years old), tune up, fluid changes and new
muffler pipe.

Tires in good shape, flawless glass.

The car is dark blue outside and a light blueish/gray inside.

It does have a minor power steering fluid leak. For this, I keep a
bottle of power steering fluid in my trunk and refill when necessary
(it does not affect the running of the car at all-and once you add
some fluid-the power steering is GREAT!). We believe the leak is due
to the fact that the power steering fluid cap does not close
properly and the fluid is coming out of the top when you hit bumps. My
mechanic has ordered a new cap from Mazda that I will have on
Monday. This should solve the problem.

Outer body has a dent on the driver's side wheel well-does not
affect driving of the car in any way. Paint chipped (as a lot of old
NY cars are).

All in all-this is a great running car that could look better. It
would be a great car for running around New York with (makes errands
easier!), or for a first time driver (perhaps a college student?).
