  • Hi Millie, Suzie and Judy xxx and hugs for you too~
  • Glad to see you are all doing well... and we're celebrating a birthday
    Happy Birthday Joey P!!!

As Patsy says, we're always reporting bad news here. So let's turn it around and look for reasons to celebrate.
  • Was feeding the animals.
  • Blue Ray is great, I hear.

We bought a new DVD player for FL (not Blue Ray) but it has a feature that enhances the quality of any we play, a brings it up to a Hi-Def quality.

Hope that makes sense (or the guy in Circuit City was playing with us).
One of my motivators to move - a new TV and TiVo, so I'll be able to tape my shows like a big girl and not my VCR. I know I'm probably the only person on the planet still using a VCR. It goes well with my 8-Track Player (Nah)
  • Franny: Did you see the class picture with Rosalie and me in it? It's back a few pages.
  • be right back J... on phone trying to change auto insurance to FL
don't multi-task as well as i did when i was a 'working woman'
lost something along the way.... my brain
  • Where are Patsy & Terry??
  • Hi Francesca - that video was tooooo funny!!!!!!

Hi Millie, Suzie, Janet, Joe, Patsy and Terry.

    Peek in later
  • Can't get to the next page, lol.
  • I POSTED AND IT GOT DELETED
  • Francesca --- You are not the only one with a VCR..... I still tape my soap opera every day...I don't even know how to do it for the week. every morning I take the same thing...A couple of years ago my VCR was dying...I went to the store and the kid behind the counter almost laughed at me, because I asked for a VCR, just a plain old VCR no DVR DVD or whatever and they are not easy to find.. I went on ebay and bought one for $15.00 and the thing came and it was broke....I had to fight for two months to get my money back...It wasn't so much the $15.00 it was the principal that someone would send me a VCR broken.. How dare they!!!!!

Well still looking for one that works.....

    Judy
  • I POSTED,
FRANNY THAT VIDEO WAS TOO FUNNY
    AND
MILLIE WAS GOING TO WEAR AN OUTFIT LIKE SUZIE'S CAKE FOR THE NEXT REUNION WITH ALL THE EXERCISE SHE IS DOING. U GO GIRL
I SANCED TO SUZIE'S VIDEO TO DANCING QUEEN LOL
  • I still have a VCR as well as a DVD and DVR
  • JANET -
    i'm still 'on hold'

i was checking my route last night... and while i knew i was leaving on 1/20 and it is Inauggration Day (sp?) - i didn't realize that we will
be driving through Washington DC during the heart of the activities,
with millions on the road... Now I definetly will head down hugging the
Western states. Will catch up with you later or tonight.

And one quick answer == yes, I just checked you and Rosalie's picture
when you mentioned it.... I can't see too much, the pictures are so small.
I'll check again later. I can recognize Rosalie because I remember her
graduation picture from when we were kids.
  • I think I am to the left of her.
  • I thought you were staying away from I 95?? Take 78 to 81 to 77 South
  • I just checked page 271, the bigger picture is at the bottom amd yes, I am to the left of Rosalie.
  • ok folks, i just join facebook from work--try to put some photos up tonite
  • I AM AT WORK, JANET. SOME OF US STILL HAVE TO WORK TO SURVIVE LOL
  • MY BOSS IS AROUND, SO CAN'T BE ON HERE TOO OFTEN:)
  • hey patsy,we can't be working to hard if were on here
  • VCR'ers
Judy, Janet -- yeah. I love it, but when I was in Brooklyn w/my sister last week she taped on her TiVo and it was such a pleasure.

I'm sure you can relate - I have all these tapes around and don't label them so when I go to tape again, have to see what's on and be sure not
    to tape over them.

One night I fell asleep while watching something I taped; when I woke up,
my grandmother was sitting in her rocking chair - and then all the family was dancing around. (Now mind you, my whole family has passed, so I thought "Oh my, I died during the night.") And my grandmother died in
1966 before any technology - so how could this be????

Well it turns out my cousin made a copy of a tape for me from 16mm and I
taped over it. And the end of the movie was still in-tack. Scared the shit out of me.

Sorry I have to go.... Will be back soon...

My best to you on this day!
  • I HAVE A DVD PLAYER, BUT I ALSO STILL HAVE A VCR.. DOUBLE DUEL VCR/DVD PLAYER. I LOVE IT!
  • There she is and now she's back to work. Have a great day Patsy.
  • YOU'RE RIGHT JOE !
  • Franny, now that is funny.
  • THANX, JANET. TALK TO YOU ALL LATER :)
