Anthony - You are funny...believe me my brain cells were fried even as a kid,...I could never remember anything....but lets see, Mary Mac...I really don't recall. I will have to ask Laura, she remembers everything.
I do remember Larry Genevese, I saw him a couple of years ago when we had a 1972 St.Johns Reunion. He just had twins a couple of years ago. (he has no idea what he is in for at this age). Oh well and yes I do remember the Mondays, Mundis, I can't believe I don't remember how to spell it, their daughter was Joann. And yes I remember their father got very sick from a dead pigeon (sp)
When we were young it was always, me, Diane Perrotta, Joanne Mundi and Gina Passaretti. We used to hang out for years together. Then we all went to different high schools and kinda lost track of each other.
See I do remember some things...now you got me curious about Mary...
Anthony, how long ago did you live on 27th st?

Judy and Anthony, I have to ask again about where my wife lived on 27th st....Pizzini..Ellen, Cliff..father was a shoemaker, had a storefront near 72nd and 5th, but they were out of there by, I'm thinking 66,67. anyway back later. -
I'm still confused about my childhood friend and neighbor Johnny Napoli, I could swear he went to St Johns, didn't anyone go to school with this guy?
He would be 56 or 57 now -

JUDY,
OMG I always remember that. mr mundi dead from a pigeon. It is funny how things remain in your mind from when u were a kid. I think he worked for the sanitation and picked up a dead pigeon that made him sick and he died. i cant believe u mentioned that. Since michele and I were kids we would not and until this day go near pigeons just from that story. i remember dominic mundi love Terry -
TERRY WHEN YOU DO YOU TUBE ON THE RIGHT EMBED UNDER URL
HI LIGHT THAT COPY IT THEN PASTE IN THE BLOG SIT TO SUBMIT -
Hi Terry and Paul - waiting to eat dinner.
See Paul was playing by/with himself. Hi Paul... and Terry, that YouTube was so funny.
I'm practicing making shorter Posts...
Paul, I'm guessing Ellen's parents must have passed right before I met her. I don't remember what happened - it was never discussed. She
hung-out with DeeDee Schrailli and Nancy Savarese when I met them.
Boy I was afraid of them at first. They really kicked ass (not mine; they
befriended me,,, thank God)
-
Terry - when I was a little girl I wanted to marry Dean Martin. I still love him...and have much memorabelia (sp?)..
-
PAUL
DID YOUR WIFE LIVE NEXT DOOR TO THE PERROTTAS ON 27 STREET -
Terry - Isn't that funny to this day I tell my own kids ' DON'T EVER GO NEAR DEAD PIGEONS OR ANY KIND OF DEAD BIRD" I think that all made us so afraid. He was such a big strong guy and he wasted away to nothing. I don't really remember exactly what the hell he had but it was horrible.
I think dominick mundi became a lawyer. -
thanks mr. umbria my new teacher i did but i will try again
-
OH NO DON'T TELL ME PAULS WIFE LIVED IN THE 'BROWN HOUSE" LOL LOL
Paul - Did your wife life between 3rd and 4th or 4th and 5th????? My address was 215 - 27th st. between 4th and 5th. I lived there since 1958.
Judy -
JUDY I LIVE ON 27 STREET FROM 1970 TO 1974
-
JUDY,
That must have been a big deal then. We all remember it and all tell our kids the same thing. I was always at Aunt Maries as a kid. I used to babysit for the girls. My aunt would come and they would be up and I would be sleeping. Lol We always laugh about that. Those truly were the days not a care in the world. love terry
