    I guess it's the right color and shape for a pigeon . . . But the feathers still attached to it were all white. Also it was really big - like 2 inches in diameter on the claw part.

    yes, I think its a turkey part as well.

    Perhaps someone bought a live turkey from one of the local poultry markets. They then threw out the claw, which poked thru the bag when the sanitation worker picked up the trash....

    There are lots of places to buy live poultry and baby goats in the city. Prospect Heights has one on Grand St and Dean.

    ...there's likely some in Sunset Park as well.

    Yes, that's probably what happened. But I'm keeping the cockfighting/witchcraft dream alive because it's way more dramatic and fun.

    I just heard there's no Manhattan Bound F trains right now due to Police Activity @ The Church St Station. I bet they found the found the skinhead turkey gang.

    Actually, according to my sources: The aliens posed as skinheads.

    This of course bothered the real skinheads (who BTW, prefer to be referred to as "empowered, earth loving, diversity celbrating, vegan, bald youth". Some of them attnd Ethical Culture and are the children of leftovers from the 1980s Straight Edge movement").

    Anyway, the real skinheads (the vegan ones) called the alien skinheads names like "poser" and "wimp". This caused the alien skinheads to retaliate against the vegan ones by throwing turkey legs all around Park Slope.

    I know its true because I read it on Brooklynian.

    Oh my word!!!! That's where the rest of my sandwich went. I had came from 7-11 where i brought some hero bread and a slurpie. I made my own sandwich with my thanksgiving left overs and the hero. I was paying so much attention to my slurpie, when i arrived home, I bit into my sandwich, only to find nothing but bread. The whole inside must of fell out. Can anyone verify if this has been stepped on? If not, I can retrieve it, boil it in water for 5 minutes and it will be as good as new. Good looking out slopers.

    I once saw two headless chicken bodies just inside the Greenwood Cemetery fence on the north side. We decided it must be related to Santeria. That was the most exciting explanation and I remembered seeing an animal cops (yes I watch it, don't judge me!) episode about Santeria and a goat.
