  • I got the F and the Y portion, however, I have a little issue concerning the "I" part of your message.

I assume this means that alternate side parking rules aren't in effect - No mention as to where or why. This strikes me as odd considering there are fresh "no parking monday" signs on a number of streets due to the road work.

Either way, I'll be sure to risk a ticket or a tow based on a 7 word fountain of mis-information.

    Thanks.
  • Alternate side parking is suspended for

    Immaculate Conception December 8, Mon
    Idul-Adha December 8-10, Mon-Wed

only Street Cleaning Rules are suspended. All other regulations remain in effect
  • So, the over 50 signs on 10th street between 6th and 8th Avenues... signs that were put up on Friday... those signs are just for show?

Cool... maybe we should have a brooklynian gathering over at the Navy Yards.

Do they say no parking for street cleaning? Then they are suspended.

If they say no parking for any other reason, road work or a movie or anything else, then they are in effect and you have to move your car

Hmm, I guess if you have to move your car on a Mon, Tues or Wed. it applies to you. If you have to move your car on a Thurs or a Fri it doesn't apply to you. Finally, the subject has the word Holiday in it, not road work. That's another clue.
  • I recommend you stop paying rent. Keep a diary of all bowel movements in the household. Don't sign for any certified letters and keep a boiling pot of offal on the stove in case the marshal shows up.
  • Eggcream -

Thanks for being nice enough to try to save your fellow PSers a car move. In spite of the reaction you got I hope you (and others) will continue to post useful info like this in the future.

Well, thank you BigGuy and you're welcome. Don't worry, I'm amused by the immature postings of a few here and don't let them bother me in the least. It's unfortunate but what are ya going to do.
  • I cant believe there's anything to argue about itt. This board is going downhill fast...people are so crabby lately!
