French (since we are on the topic of meeting people) — Brooklynian

French (since we are on the topic of meeting people)

Someone had mentioned getting involved in a conversational language group etc. as a good way to meet people. Does anyone have any good suggestions for how to seek a place like that out. I am particularly interested in French but would love to get a little more knowledge about just about any language. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Meetup used to be a lot better before they started charging fees but some of the bigger groups are still going.
