It's going to be way too cold for a picnic, I think.
-
I'm thinking maybe rum spiked hot apple cider from thermos.
-
I went there one year. It was the lamest thing I ever saw. They couldn't even get the countdown right either. It was actually hilarious.
-
Its going to be freezing!!
-
I'm with Whynot. Spiked hot cider, big-ass puffer coat.
-
My friend Erica who runs and is part owner of Barrette informed me yesterday that they got the permit to remain open till 8am on New Years. Should be rocking with DJ's and live burlesque going all night. I for one will be heading over there post fireworks.

Ok, let's all admit to the fact that it's a nasty ass, freezing cold, shit fest out there. I'm staying home with champagne and music.
-
That's my plan - not sure if my husband is joking, but he's still saying we should go to the park. Hell - how well do fireworks do in 24mph wind anyway???
-
exactly!

I just popped open bottle of wine #2. I hate wine.

Actually I like mixing Boones Wildberry with seltzer. However, since Wildberry isn't in season I'm going to have a Heineken, or two, or three. Probably just one.
