Joe ...I feel terrible about that poor bird....but your lucky... it could have caused an accident or hit your windshield.... I do hope they find it and clean it off the road....
What's going on with the birds...now?
The other morning I saw a dead bird in the middle of the street on my block....I was sick to my stomache.....I couldnt pick it up .....so I went inside the house and emptied the big Christmas Popcorn round tin can....and I went outside and closed my eyes and put it over the bird ....hopefully getting it all inside ....so no one else can hit it with the car.
I cant tell you how many neighbors called me and said I dropped a big can of popcorn in the street....it sounded worse when I said ...No! dont pick it up its a dead bird !!!!! -

Joey - Great stories. I can relate - I bought some take-out food
from an Italian Restauraht and went back to my hotel room to eat. (As
I tell the story, not sure why I didn't get utensils from the hotel? duh).
Anyway, I was tired and hungry - no plastic forks... So I ate ravioli,
brocolli-rabe (Sp?).. with the little red plastic stirrer that comes on the
coffee bar, and with my fingers. The advantage I had over you is that
I had left-overs in my fingernails for a late-night snack...
