Brooklyn Back When - Open Thread

Mornin Janet - I've been up for awhile, I hate it that I'm such an early riser! When my kids were little I absolutely fantasized about sleeping late & now that I can, I can't. Ironically, both of my kids have turned into champion snoozers! Go figure!.

You asked last night about a Michael Napoli...my husband did have a brother named Mike but he was married to a Regina. I also used to kid my husband that when his family got off the boat, they didn't understand "what's your name"?, so immigration just gave them the name of the place they came from-Napoli.

Well, I finally got my tree up yesterday, not the greatest one ever, but done all the same. Somehow I lost the tree skirt, so I had to run out & buy a new one. Boy what a different world...there were polka-dots and everything under the sun. The hardest thing to find was something that looked Christmasy.

I'm thinking about going to Macys this am, but I was out with my dog and boy, is it cold. Guess I'll have to get out there at some point. I don't know which is worse - the crowds or the cold.
