Chavellas, Franklin Park, Abigails, now Homage

yay! we were planning to go there for dinner tonight as it was!

nope, homage is off Franklin Ave.

Homage has beer and wine!?!

i love their veggie and their tofu burgers.

homage is on park at franklin.

not a bar -- just you can order beer with your food now.

they have apps (yummy!!! pumpkin and plantains!!), salads, and tons of types of burgers (tuna, beef, turkey, veggie, tofu, etc.)

it's on the south east corner of park and franklin - on park. they have a garden out back open in warm weather.

closed mondays.

I'm brand new to the neighborhood and looking for good cheap and healthy places to eat - this sounds like a good bet. Has anyone had the turkey burger?

nope, but ate the beef deluxe burger one tonight. Yummy food, relaxed atmosphere. $10 for a burger and fries, plus a $3 beer.

...certainly a dinner option.

I wound up eating delicious sushi at Gen, but this place is much closer. I think I'll give the turkey burger a try tomorrow night.

I had the portabello mushroom burger at Homage and it was so delicious, way better than the regular beef burger. $9.50 with fries.

$3 beer is pretty hard to beat.

Basically, Brooklyn Brewery bottled beer.

Ordered from there last night for the first time. Pretty good burgers, but they totally effed up the order. However, about 15 minutes after the food arrived, the manager called to say that they just realized the toppings on our order were incorrect, they were very backed up with orders, and to offer their sincerest apologies.

Perhaps I'm jaded, but I've never in my life heard of a delivery place calling to apologize for a messed up order. They've inspired my loyalty, I'll definitely order from there again.

Oh, I had the teriyaki burger, it was pretty good.

I had a portobello burger with pesto on Sunday and I'm addicted. I'll be back this week to try the turkey burger but the roasted sweet potato side will be a staple for me this winter. Thanks for the recommendation all!

Oh Homage... I didnt know they were a bar... my gf beasts for stoop sales, flea markets etc, my only experience with them was their weak ass flea market. I might check them out, but only after I check out the Franklin Park Annex
