Subject: Slice of pizza just ain't what it used to be
Used to be you could get a really decent slice of Pizza anywhere in Brooklyn or the city for that matter. I feel bad because most people today
don't really know what good pizza should taste like, the closest we can
get to what pizza should taste like is luigis no doubt. Lennys' was once
a great place but that was over 25 years or better. They cook too many
pizzas in advance stack them up and then cook the rest of the way as
needed. They have changed from all mozzarella to mixing in filler cheese.
I was flabbergasted to find a better slice of pizza in Greenville SC -unheard of. If you really want to know what pizza should almost taste like
luigis is about the best we can do here, at least in Park Slope. It is fast
becoming a lost art.
