Holiday time. Terry worrying about her son getting home, people wrapping presents, some preparing menu's for Christmas Dinner. It made me feel nostolgic. I started thinking about some of the stories we read both as kids and adults. A theme that popped into my mind was the scenerio where the Devil or a Goblin tells you that you can have any wish if you give part of your life to him. (Notice girls I made the Devil a "him") I have been dwelling a lot on my childhood in Brooklyn and I started thinking "suppose he offered me any day in my childhood I wanted back and all I had to do was let him pick one day from my life that he could take back". I started to get enthused and then I thought, suppose he picks the day I asked my beautiful wife to marry me. He may want one of the few days I remembered to tell my Mother that I loved her. She died very young. Maybe he would pick a day that one of my children or grandchildren were born. Perhaps one of the days I was promoted in my job so that I could better support my family. Or he could pick the day that my wife Carol had the operation that saved her life. Reminiscing is fine. All of you going over your growing up together is swell. Having the reunion you did has to be a highlight of your adult lives. But you know something. I think it is okay if I think about growing up in the slope, remember old friends and happenings but it is even better if I live for today and all the blessings I have. Love to you all and I hope that the snow does not cause any of you undue hardships. Old Goat here

May God Bless you and your family and may all the angels watch over you and give u a happy and healthy new year. Love Terry -
Warren - Wow that was beautifully said.....I guess sometimes we do take for granted the wonderful things we have in our lives....
This is the season to be thankful but it is also a time when we seem to miss our loved ones the most.
Well would if the story went a little differently and we get to pick one day in our lives that we wanted back...... I wonder what people would pick.
I guess I will go first............I would pick the day my Dad died...he died way tooooo young.
Warren - Happy Holidays to you and your beautiful wife..... -
Terry - No I did not hear from the Administrator.....I asked him if he would please come on the blog and explain to everyone how the switch is going to take place.....He may be on vacation....Lets hope we don't hit 500 until he comes back.....
