Key Food Windsor Terrace: hideous or not?

That's a good point about the selection changing all the time. I get excited to see them carrying something, then it never appears again.

I urge everyone to complain via the online form, AND sign the petition listed above AND fill out the survey listed above! It will be so great if we can actually bring about some improvements in this store.
  • My boyfriend and I always had a bad experience when we asked questions about "mismarked" prices (always ended up being more expensive than listed). The manager was always rude and couldn't be bothered with us. The store is one of the dirtier supermarkets we've seen. We go to Pathmark now...
  • Yeah we run into the same issue with the prices being poorly marked. I will have to mention that next time i'm in there.
  • Since I am leaving for a Christmas vacation, I didn't need to buy many things that would simply waste away, so I decided to go to Key Food instead of Rossmans.

Apples were $2 a pound! Bananas were greener than astroturf.
  • Verdict: Hideous

Now who wants to tell Mike?

Are the GL people going to present him with the survey results?

I've already asked him (nicely) for many things.....with shit results.

He doesn't think a meeting is necessary apparently. I think it is time to light burning torches and storm the place! A supermarket coup. We need six to man the registers, two at the deli, apparently nobody to man the produce and two to give out surly attitude at the door!
  • I have an idea! Why don't we hire a spaceship to blast away key food and replace it with WholeFoods! yeah!
  • Who says he doesn't think a meeting is necessary? I think they were also going to send the survey results to corporate.

They have a corporate feedback link:

The people on KWTNeighbors who kind of have been organizing this latest revolt against Key Food and have spoken to Mike who says he fixed the problems.

That's crap. He hasn't fixed a thing. They should take it to KF corporate

Each store is individually owned. Definitely fill out the corporate complaint form and hopefully people will take up the cause again after the holidays.

I am not sure how much headway you can make with stupidity. If someone doesn't see the dollars and cents they are losing by simply providing a little bit better product at a little bit better price....I am not sure if you can implant brains. In the end, it is his store and his right to sell crap. But I hope there is neighborhood meeting with him because I will be there!!

There is no corporate. Key Food is a buying coop and the markets are all indipendantly owned.
  • But isn't there some sort of standard that they have to live up to?

    We can always picket :wtf:

There IS corporate and they take all the complaints there. Whether they care is another matter.
  • Just got back from Europe. Too tired to shop at better supermarkets, so I am off to Key Food. Hopefully I won't be back for the rest of 2009. Keeping my produce purchases to a minimum and will be going to Rossmans during the week.
