126 Saint Felix Street, Brooklyn
Hear directly from the City agencies responsible for preserving neighborhood character, including the City Planning Commission and the Landmarks Preservation Commission, on how the historic district designation and the preservation process works. Learn from neighborhood activists in Brooklyn about different ways of preserving community character and historic resources; from landmark designation to rezoning initiatives to public awareness campaigns.
This event is FREE to the public and is being co-sponsored by the Fort Greene Association.
The Historic Districts CouncilÂ’s Borough Panel Series is supported in part by Independence Community Foundation, The New York Community Trust and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
