Are you talking about drumsticks proper, or the mini drumstick-like portion of the wing, which my friend refers to as 'drummies'? :?
Is there a secret club that gets nothing but wings? If so, how do I join? -

amusingly, I don't like actual 'drumsticks' and only 'drummies'. not a huge fan of actual wings, either. I'm very picky.
so wing wagon is pretty awesome: they have tiny wings, which indicates minimal hormone growth b.s. on their chicken, and they give lotsa drummies.
and their 'very hot' option is damn good when paired with a jack & coke next door. oh wait, did I mention drinking? SORRY! -
How hot is hot? Like eyes watering, nose running hot? I got the mild, just wanted a little kick, and there was none. But I'm not into my nose running while I eat.

try hot first. I like very hot, but that's just me. I'm weird and sketchy like that. -
Ah! Well, I happen to prefer humeri/drummies! 'specially when there's that little chunk of breast meat attached! Said friend preferred wing, and when we went out for wings, we had a standing agreement to trade wings and drummies so that we'd each end up with a full order of each. Ah, the good old days!
But you're right, it is strange that you'd receive mostly one, not the other... I wonder if they purchase whole chicken wings or if they're already separated when they get 'em... -
I also prefer the humerus segment to the radius/ulna, which has the unappealing neurovascular bundle running between the 2 bones. In the "drummie", this bundle runs right along the bone and is easy to avoid.
Funny, I usually feel like I get more of the radius/ulna segments! I guess the grass is always greener... -
I think the wagon is hidden behind the two-way mirror.
The first time I ordered their wings I got medium. It had no heat. Now I get the X hot. It seems right to me. I do like things spicy, but it didn't make my nose run.
Has anyone had the XXX? -

Neurovascular bundle... mmmmmmm.

Ok, so it's you guys who are eating all my wing tips. Next time I'll ask them to go light on the drummies, you do likewise with the wing tips, and everyone is happy.

In that computer you'll find the data that links the dead pigeons to the missing wing tips.
I've said too much. -
