assist pet charities
by visiting this link: purina one free bag of food
you can obtain a coupon for a free bag of pet food - cat or dog food. if you don't feed your pet purina (or if you don't have a pet at all) this is a great site to visit to obtain a coupon and send it to your favorite pet charity.
don't have a favorite pet charity? PM me. PetPatrol in Houston, Texas, where MANY post-Katrina pets have ended up, needs these coupons and I can give you the address of a contact for that organization.
Thanks!!

Do you know if the coupon will allow for an organization to redeem multiple ones? They say that they limit the coupon requests to one per household per species but don't give info on the coupon itself.
I just want to make sure that if a charity gets 100 coupons that they can actually use them all.
It kind of seems like a loophole in the system because I don't think purina wants the food going to a charity, I think they have other programs to help shelters out. I think their goal is to convert pet owners to their food so they sell more to them. That said, if there's a loophole to exploit in favor of shelter dogs and cats, let's do it! -
I've done this before for charities - basically, it's very grassroots. You get the coupon, you send it to someone involved in a charity, they go to PetCo or some grocery store and redeem it. period. the charity workers are willing to go into the store 20 times, and the limit, should the pet store or grocery store try to enforce 'something', is on the number of coupons one can receive.
the coupons will work. -
I feel that it's appropriate that I do this.
