  • That's good to know! Thanks. I'm sure Charley would love to wag on in.
This pretty little rescue of mine she is a most social creature.
I'd have to do the drinking tho, she's got allergies to more things than I
    can think of.
Your dog beautiful and looks huge.
    Later.
  • I had a tasty dinner , but next time I want an invite to Carmen's house. All of those meals sound yummy!
  • 'Jingle Bells' performed by the Singing Dogs:

  • Christmas dinner? Here's my bachelor kitchen special for today:

    Super bacon-cheese burger!

    Omaha steaks hamburger

    thickly sliced peppered bacon

    onion slice

    feta cheese

    stewed sweet pepper slice

    lettuce

seasoned with Italian salad dressing, Jamaican Pickapeppa, ketchup, Louisiana Cajun salt

dessert: pumpkin pie slice generously topped with Cool Whip

With opera music in the background!
  • I already told Carny that I'm marrying his wife and taking his inlaws away. =P~

Last night I had roast duck, jalapeno/sausage cornbread stuffing and decadent garlic bread with tons of baked in buttery goodness

Today I want to go out, any recs on places for a late lunch? I'm thinking about venturing out into windsor terrace or PH CH
  • Last night dinner was roast turkey, glazed ham, peas and rice, tater salad, mac and cheese, turnips, candied yams, string beans and carrots, pecan stuffing, cranberries and dinner rolls.

Dessert was my homemade cherry pound cake and rum walnut cake.
  • after I finish eating at Carmen's, I'm going to Arlette's :-)
  • If any of you folks want to come cook in my kitchen, I'll host the next Brooklynian get-together. BYOB, of course.
  • Bloggers are festive, if a bit work-shy, with even the cranky Queens Crap praising the origami tree at the Museum of Natural History, Brooklyn Vegan dishing out some free Christmas Tunes, and the Brooklynians comparing their Christmas dinner plans.

I am so down for this. I love dinner parties (although I'm actually a pretty terrible cook.) Enough wine makes anything taste good ;)

Made them with my mom. I can follow a recipe and everything, I'm just not terribly innovative.

  • WTF? There is something wrong with you people.
  • <---- awaits invite to new years dinner.
  • Don't invite her. Just me.
  • whynot_31 wrote: Don't invite her. Just me.
Whynot eats all the food, doesn't bring wine (only whine) and will put whoopie cushions on your chair.

Ana brings at least two bottles, has a charming personality and will help clean up after.

    You make the call.

No, Mamacita eats all the food. Remember the fries...

    Ana:
    1. Good wines are not "fortified", nor are they made by Boones.
    2. Your dog has a charming personality and will help clean up after, however, you are not your dog.
    3. It's true, I will eat all the food. ....but Mama ate your fries. You should now get over it.
  • Beoch also called me short

    -------

Back on topic. I making croc pot chili for New Years. Tons of pork, beans, jalapenos... served with cheddar, sour cream and fritos chips!
  • Mamacita wrote: Beoch also called me short

I did not call you short. I simply stated that if you wanted to "bitch slap" me, you'd have to find a stool.

  • I'm at work so I can't click on your youtube, but I already know it's Short People by Randy Newman. I will alow this only because I love Newman.

PS... you know you want some of my pork chili, don't deny yourself.
