  • So just because I think its worth mentioning...
    I've been really impressed with the NYPD on this mugging case. I got called in yesterday to the robbery unit (the annex bldg on grand and wash) to go through more mugshots and a photo line-up and today the detective even paid me a house visit with a few more pictures to look at. there are plans for canvassing next week as well. The guys are actually working crazy hours on this (including sunday, btw) to try and find this guy who seems to be working on a pattern.
    so yeah, i know we've had a lot of posts here about how the NYPD has been really unresponsive to complaints, but in this case, let me tell you, I feel like the entire weight of the NYPD over a few dollar robbery.
