Just Moved to PH last week... Laundry Question

I just moved to Prospect Heights last week, and I was wondering where the best Laundromat was? Basically which places arenÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢t really crowded and have a lot of machines. Also do they have drop off laundry services?

There should be quite a few threads on this subject- try a quick search! You should have no problem finding recommendations no matter what corner of PH you live in.

Seconded (thirded? whatevah) for Della's place (not its actual name) on Vanderbilt next to the school parking lot at Sterling Pl. Might not be the cheapest machines in the hood, but the place is gleamingly spotless, and their dropoff service can't be matched.

I agree - Della's is great. There are 2 new women who work there who have some difficulty with English and have written down the wrong phone numbers or the wrong numbers off the scale - I've had to correct them numerous times on both counts.

Having said that, Della is great. I'm moving in a few months and am sad to think I won't be using their laundromat anymore.
