You know, my sister made a mammogram appoint for me for when I was up there for the reunion (unknown to me!!) and I reluctantly went. Well, the way they acted made me need to go home and get my affairs in order. I thought for sure I was a goner!!! They kept conferring, taking extra tests, etc and nothing came of it, lol.

I figured I had a few months left and when I found out that everything was ok, I wanted to go back to Bay Ridge and scream at them.

No, there is a story to why I put it up so early ....so here's the quick story .... my 13yo daughter Nicole was a preemie....3 pds...she had a knot in her umbilical chord ...so they had to take her out. Anyway ....everytime the fall would come ....she would get sick with bronchitus, whatever ....plus she and my Son Vinny both had febrile seizures till they were 5. So every Halloween while the kiddies were out Trick or Treating....Nicole was usually in fighting some friggin cold and I had to keep her fever down...so she wouldnt seizure. To put her in a happy mood...I would say ....do you want to put up the Christmas Tree? Of course she would always say Yes! Thats how I started the Halloween Tradition !

Well Debbie, if you feel like you have to keep busy not to think about it, maybe you can go to everyone's house and take down their trees and pack the ornaments away, lol. Come here soon, lol.

The 5 kids are down at my son's (800 feet away) and I told them I would make them blueberry pancakes this am, but changed my mind and bought them microwavable ones last night, lol. I have kid overdose the past few weeks. 5 at a time will do it, lol. They all stayed over here a couple of nights ago and Eve is the only girl, so they all harass her and I throw a fit, lol.

HEY WHAT DO YOU KNOW TH KID STAYED HOME LAST NIGHT. COULD HAVE GONE TO HOBOKEN WITH HIS BROTHER AND WIFE TO A BAR FOR THEIR FRIEND GREGG' BIRTHDAY. HE IS LIKE ME HE GOES EVERYWHERE BECAUSE HE IS AFRAID OF MISSING OUT ON SOMETHING. LOL AND.....HE DID NOT GO AND STAYED HOME THANK GOD SAVED MONEY N SAVED E HAVING A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN.

GERMAINS. WHAT A GREAT STORE FOR THE NEIGHBORHOOD. I THINK I WAS IN THAT STORE 4 OR 5 TIMES A WEEK, SO WAS EYERY ONE ELSE. THAT STORE HAD EVERY THING. I CAN TASTE THERE HOT DOGS NOW. YOU COULDNT LEAVE THE STORE WITHOUT HAVING ONE. AND ANOTHER GREAT STORE WAS POPS BAZAAR ON 19ST.DO YOU REMEMBER HOW PACKED THAT STORE WAS?????? I BELIVE ITS STILL IN BUSINESS ALICE AND GEORGE BROTHER AND SISTER STILL RUN IT. THEY MUST UP THERE WITH AGE...............JEANETTE
