Sam's BBQ Shut down?

I recall someone on the board being afflicted with an ass-bleeding case of food poisoning from Sam's. That might have something to do with it.

Yes, the place is closed and another business - a beauty salon is taking its place. One of the partners of Sam said the owner of the building ( the same guy that owns the Buritto Bar building on Flatbush Ave) bought them out.

That sucks, the food was great there. My ass never had any problems with it.

I thought it was a great idea when they converted the place from a lame grocery shop to a deli joint that offered a lot more than cigarette, beer and candy.

Speaking of Kinky Krowns, I went in there looking to get my standard high skin fade, 3/8th inch on top. Somehow he managed to forget the fade part, but he certainly remembered the skin part.
So i stopped him and walked out of there with 2 inches of razor-worthy exposed skin, and a razor sharp line for a fade.
Fortunately, Jose's Barber Shop/Drug Dealership up the street was able to fix it.
