Do we deserve to see Flexi's new TV?

It also appears that Drunken Revival has somehow gained access to Flexi's computer and is responding to Gretel about the F train. Not entirely sure what to make of that. -
Drunken Rival has it goin' on. We didn't stand a chance....
-
Drunken Rival? Freud would be proud.

Ok, YOU PEOPLE - Two problems
1) picture size is not stretching to full screen. I tried doing this thru both tv and time warner boxes and no luck
2) time warner channels are all out of whack - wrong order, channels missing, no access. They tell me that it will be 24-28 hours and that they will fix it on their end. Fuckers! -
How did I know you'd be back on here begging for help.
1. First make sure you are on the HD channels. Starts around 700 on Time Warner. This is the most likely problem. Otherwise you will have to mess with the TV picture settings. Also try the regular component cable (red, blue and green) instead of HDMI. You may also want to purchase additional HD channels in their HD package. About $8 a month but totally worth it.
2. Can't help. Call up and scream at Time Warner. -
I think we should change the poll to "no, no one should ever have whynot or voodoo over." Me and Oscar should be invited all the time.

HUSH! I'm helping Flexi. You're just jealous.
Also Flexi - not all shows are filmed in HD yet. If they aren't, they won't fill the whole screen - I found this annoying at first but am used to it now. True HD will fill the whole screen (depending on your picture settings), analog will have a black band at either side. And if you have grey bands you're on an analog channel Switch to HD channels. -
thanks, VD. I will play around with it again in a bit (after some wine). I've done something else wrong because I can't watch DVDs. I am now sitting in my bedroom with my little 13" tv watching "The Whackness"
After 2 glasses of wine I will attempt to fix tv again.
That said, even when it's turned off, it's bee-yoo-tee-full. -

Start your own poll. Don't be hatin' on our poll.

thx, but why did i have to buy the HDMI cable if I could have used red/green/blue?

Oohh, you and VD are a couple now? CUTE! When is the commitment ceremony? -
whynot_31 wrote: It seems this is the case. She is also winning the poll at the moment (4 feel Flexi is under no obligation to invite us over, 3 feel she should), but we still have another day of voting.
Check it again. (Cough) -

I knew there was a reason we scheduled a group showing of the Biggest Loser premiere tonight. Flexi needs us. Just hook DVD player into any available analog input and make sure TV is switched to that input.

Same date as you and Jamzer. You didn't get the memo? -

English. Speaka da English.
I tuggled both the DVD remote and the TV remote between TV/DVD and nuttin'. zippo. nada -
Em - yup, Flexi is still ahead.
Ana - Mrs. Whynot would not approve. There are some other issues as well... but back to Flexi's TV....
Flexi, Voodoo might even be able to fix your TV remotely if you give him a pin cushion in the shape of a TV. -

Missed this. You can use either. HDMI will supposedly get you a slightly sharper picture. I find them buggy. Just trying to troubleshoot. And the HDMI cable cost you $4. Stop whining. -

Get off the crack already ,man!! #-o
It's 5 up. -
Flexi, didn't it come with a 1800 number?
You can get advice from them and not have to invite them over. -

Don't try and do what you used to do on your old TV.
1. Plug DVD into input on new Toshiba properly (ie the right connections).
2. Note name or number of input you connected said DVD plugs into on new Toshiba.
3. Switch the INPUT on new Toshiba to said input that DVD is plugged into.
4. Sit back and watch DVD on new Toshiba. -
lazy way: Push play on DVD player. Plug cable from DVD output into TV input. Push "select input" until you see DVD picture
-
5. Invite Whynot, Beaver, Voodoo and Em over to play with kittehs and drink wine. And fix Toshiba.
-

Lazy bastard. -
damn, we better hurry before she drinks all the wine.
She might also kill a squirrel, in order to have Big Guy come over.
She'll then blindfold him and make him do things he can't tell us about.
...it sucks to be Big Guy. -
Dude, I have a Tivo HD, DVD Burner, PS3, Wii, and Xbox360 hooked up through my Toshiba through my stereo system. If I can't walk Flexi through this online then I am an epic fail.

Phhfftt. Flexi's passed out from all the wine with her arms around her new TV. -

Although this is very studly:
1. Did you factor in Flexi and wine?
2. I still will not give Ana her wish of a VD- Why commitment ceremony. -
I'm here, I'm here. I'm going to try this again in a little bit.

Beaver doesn't wanna be my friend anymore.
Whynot said I went to first base with an actual pig. So he's on my shit list at the moment.VoodooNYC wrote: Dude, I have a Tivo HD, DVD Burner, PS3, Wii, and Xbox360 hooked up through my Toshiba through my stereo system. If I can't walk Flexi through this online then I am an epic fail.
Fuck that! I'm coming to your place. -

Or destroying it with an empty wine bottle and a hunk of cheese. Most likely.
Howdy, Stranger!
