Put the Cable from outside into your cable box (this should already be like this)
Plug your cable box into your TV, either by HDMI input, or red green and blue cables (should be clearly labled on back of TV. Put those in one of your "main" TV inputs. Note input. Turn TV to this input to watch TV.

Plug DVD player into TV as described in my PREVIOUS post.

Pay me $20 and half a bottle of wine and I can take care of this for you in 10 minutes. And you can keep the $20.

1. Plug DVD into input on new Toshiba properly (ie the right connections).

what does this mean? from back of DVD to what on TV with what cables?
