Center Slope with TWC, phone, cable and internet were all fine last night.

Reset your router and modem. (ya know, unplug them) If you have cable tv as well and just your wireless internet wasn't working, then def. reset the router.

Yeah, I think something is wrong with the router. I've had this problem a few times already. I unplug, replug... I hate talking to them, it takes forever to get anywhere with them!

I'm in the north Slope and my digital cable was out all night and this morning until I left for work. I called TWC last night and a recording said service was out in Park Slope, we are working to restore it blah blah blah.

Still out in the north slope.. Recordings don't mention it, but the operators recognize the problem.

We had to get a new TWC modem recently b/c internet and cable kept going out. Luckily it's a quick fix once they actually show up.
I wish we had FIOS here...there's needs to be some competition. -
I just had to replace my modem a couple of weeks ago, too.

Last night my roommate had a delay getting online after shutting down her computer, but I never ever ever got to look at naughty stuff! Boo. If I can't get on tonight we'll try resetting the thing.

What technical procedure did you undertake to ascertain that the problem is indeed on Time Warner's end?
Don't get me wrong, I think they're sons of bitches and I hope all of them are forced to watch their loved ones fed to lions, but it would help your cause to find the source of the problem yourself before getting the run around from their incompetent customer service and technical service departments.
For example, if you think your router sucks, try plugging a computer directly into the cable modem via an ethernet cable. If it works, your router does indeed suck. If not, then perhaps it is the modem.
I guess the main issue here is that while you are proving to be just as inept as the Time Warner staff, at least they aren't being needlessly vocal and bitching about something they know very little about. -

I've done that. And Intelligence (i.e Papi Chulo) just called and said they saw a TW person on our block fixing something on top of a electric pole. SO IT IS THEIR GODDAMN FREAKITY !%@$! FAULT.

I have to say, I've had very good luck with TW access...My connection did go out 2 weeks ago, called them, got someone pretty quickly, made an appt for someone to come out....also went to 5th Ave to pick up a new modem in case that was it (it wasn't). Guy showed up...it was a signal problem, fixed in less than 10 minutes...he said he would have changed the modem anway.'
BTW, if you decide to trade in your modem, you don't have to bring all the wires - just bring the modem and trade it in for a new one....they'll give you all new connections.
