Bed and Breakfast

Hi
Does anyone know of a good bed and breakfast in Park slope, Carroll gardens or brooklyn heights ? Have people coming in April and would love it if they could be around. Can't afford bandb on the Park and both, marisa B&B and angelique b& B (union bandb) have terrible reviews. Anyone knows of another one?

There is a place on Carleton (b without the b)...Garden Green. I had happy out-of-towners there. There's a bunch of stairs to get to the top room. I think it was around $100 for a double.

There was a fuller discussion on the Prospect Heights board months ago, so it's worth searching/scrolling back over there.

My parents and 87 year old grandmother came up for the holidays and stayed at the B&B on 3rd street:

I think it was around $135 per night with a three night minimum. The lodging included most of the parlor level of a brownstone. A kitchenette and private bathroom were included. Very centrally located.

Aside from some noise issues, they found it to be reasonable. Certainly more convenient and economical than staying at the New York Marriott.

My dad stayed in the "cheap" room at B&B on the Park. It was $150 a night. He reported it cozy (ie small), but very nice.

The House on 3rd Street-you get the bottom floor of a brownstone-vey nice.
