I paid about four grand for my new boiler a few years ago. The oil company installed it. I use Skaggs-Walsh, which took over for Tru-Fuel. Both are pretty good. Make sure they konw what they're doing, as having the wrong size boiler can cost extra in fuel and not heat your house well.
You can get a free boiler if you convert to gas, but you have to pay for installation, and that's pretty expensive. -
I really want to look in to some of the newer tank-less water heaters, but, as our boiler is new, it's on a back burner...

I recently replaced my boiler and used Fast Repair, which is located at 2890 Nostrand Avenue. I don't have the phone number handy. They did a good job and it cost $4,200.

Hlad plumbing is pretty good. He's installed several of our gas boilers and had no problems afterwards.
