Calling All Gowanophiles — Brooklynian

Calling All Gowanophiles

dope on the slope
edited November -1 in Gowanus
We've started a group on flickr to chronicle the evolution of Gowanus from what it is today into whatever it will become. If you are a shutterbug who takes pictures of the area or know someone who is, please pass along this link:

Even if you don't plan on contributing photographs to the pool, stop by for a visit.

Thanks!

  • speak of the devil . . .
someone just asked on another thread what the boundaries of Gowanus The Neighborhood are

although when I think about it that way, I'm tempted to give a stupid faux metaphysical answer
  • ok. i just joined.

    are you happy now?
  • are you happy now?

Me? I'm still a cynical, bile spewing misanthrope.

But thanks for signing up. I do appreciate it.

I already beat you to that on flickr.

One possible answer is "between Red Hook, Boerum Hill, Carroll Gardens, Prospect Heights, and Park Slope."

Now all your questioner has to do is figure out the boundaries of those Nabes. You've just made their task five times more difficult. As a curmudgeon, I think that's the perfect answer.
  • nice. it'd be cool to take one of the gowanus gredgers canoe club trips and get some sea-level shots.
