You are not alone.....I've shovelled three addresses right here in the neighborhood, then I headed over to Prospect Park and from there my friend and I went to the chocolate room on 5th Ave. We had a great day. More snow!!!
At least I am getting a workout. -

Any chances of alternate side parking suspensions this week beyond Monday? -
I found an igloo on the south side of The Vale of Cashmere. It was awesome. Igloo squat!

Years ago when I was a nanny on Garfield Pl I taught the boys to build igloos in front of their house. Great fun.
True, there's nothing like a blizzard to bring neighbors together. I introduced myself to many today, too. -

It's easy, although labor intensive. Here's how me & the kids did it in Brooklyn. When shoveling your stoop & sidewalk, throw all the snow in a big pile. As your next door neighbor to shovel their snow onto the pile (since it's alongside their stoop this can be convenient for them). Once pile is of sufficient size, get little kids to crawl all over it and pack it down. Then pick your entrance area and start digging to hollow it out.

Yeah..I got the DOT e-mail at 3:30 PM. Why couldn't they just announce it in the morning so those of us who parked in Tues/Fri spots wouldn't have to dig out so early. Grrr :x
